Well, this is my first post ever on a blog. A little bit about me. I'm a 66 year old man in forced retirement who needed to find some employment and I wanted to enjoy doing what I would do. I worked for 5 years at a low end job but hey, it was a job. I got that job from a friend who became ill and had to let me go. Stuck with lousy Social Security I had to find a job. Guess what? There are simply no jobs for 66 year old men. I applied for hundreds of jobs. Got exactly one interview with a convenience store chain and they sent me that polite "Thank you and we'll be in touch". Ha! Then I answered an ad on Craig's List which turned out to be from Ameriplan. It was a business opportunity and I was very skeptical. The internet is loaded with scams and I was sure this was another scam. I did my research and lo and behold, it turns out Ameriplan is a highly rated business opportunity that markets discount dental and medical plans along with other discount programs. The plans are reasobaly priced and provide enormous value for the price. The start up costs are very reasonable and the training is completely comprehensive and awesome. There's a real team atmosphere. I'm now an Independent Business Owner and while I haven't made a lot of money (yet) I certainly enjoy this work.
